Cloud should go with the Hardedge, Cog Bangle, and Revival Earrings.
As for the equipment, Tifa should go with the Purple Pain and Cog Bangle with the Champion Belt.
Both Tifa and Cloud should have their Fire or Thunder Materia linked to Elementals to cause as much damage as possible. Seeing as Aerith is the main damage dealer and healer, Prayer, Healing with Magnify, and ATB Assist were used. We had Tifa with a Barrier Materia to use when the countdown goes to one. It's strongly advised to have the character with the most health and the one that will be controlled the least, we used Cloud, to have Revive and the Revival Earrings on as well. Another recommendation is to have either Fire or Thunder on each character to keep the damage going. MP Up, Magic Up, and Healing should be on each of them.
It's recommended to have each with at least 7000 health with all Materias to the Max. They have the best mix between the two of them to get the job done. For this fight, which is found in the Shinra VR, the best team to use is Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.
